Recently I went to London for a lovely day out shopping around the Oxford Street and Carnaby Street area. London is so beautiful and, I've discovered, very photogenic. I could walk around this part of London countless times and never get bored of the stunning architecture and array of colour.
This blog post is mainly to portray my love for the capital but also to do a little OOTD (outfit of the day) and suggest some ideas for a casual outfit for a shopping day out.
-Coat - Topshop £35 (reduced from £78 hooray!)
-Black slouchy shoulder bag - Asos £44 (reduced from £55 with a 20% they had on a while back)
-White shirt - Bershka £14.99 (I bought it on my previous London shopping trip)
-Black cut out shoes - Topshop, I think they were £40?
-Dark wash grey jeans - Topshop Joni jeans £38
-Jewellery (can't really be seen but...) - Pandora necklace and ring with a few other mismatched rings (unknown, all silver)
I hope this gives you some inspiration or just an insight into my ideas of what's ideal to wear to an outdoor based shopping trip. These clothes are fit for one of England's typical days of rain (although it didn't rain), sunshine and a bit of breeze. Comfy shoes are a must as well as a nice sized tube of hand sanitiser!
London really is stunning and the selection of shops is beyond belief. I picked up some H&M sports wear, inspired by Fleur de Force's fitness haul and I also popped into WHSmith's to get a Paris street style book - inspired by Beauty Crush (Sammi).
I really am in love with London and all of it's beauty.
Love Mais.
