After having a mini meltdown a few weeks ago about the state of my skin, my Mum rushed me to Boots to pick up some certain skin care products. I've been using the brand 'La Roche-Posay' for a while but i never ventured further than their 'Effaclar Duo Anti-Blemish Cream', which was enough to make me realise what a brilliant brand it is.
The kit that I bought was the '3 step Anti-Blemish system' by 'La Roche-Posay' and I was delighted to find out that it included the cream that I had previously loved but run out off!
The 3 products included are:
1. 'Effaclar Purifying Gel Cleanser' - As the name would suggest it's a gel formula and it foams up when combined with water making it very easy to work with. It leaves my skin feeling fresh and very clean and I've definitely seen an improvement in my skin since getting it.
2. 'Effaclar Clarifying Toner' - I use this after the gel cleanser in the morning but before it on an evening. This toner helps to cleanse alongside the gel cleanser, but it also mattifies the skin. It's an extra beneficial step in my skin care routine.
3. 'Effaclar Duo Anti-Blemish Cream' - The star of the show and the product that introduced me to this amazing brand in the first place. After hearing many rave reviews on this particular cream I couldn't just neglect my urge to purchase it... Before buying this kit I'd bought this cream twice before and LOVED it. The results are noticeable the next day and it always continues to wow me as I continue to use it. It corrects the appearance of blemishes, it sinks in instantly, it gives my skin a boost of hydration and it works perfectly below makeup...so I think it's fair to say that it's a winner for me!
The price of 'La Roche-Posay' products is a weird one; it's definitely not the cheapest skin care around but it's nothing like the ridiculous prices that some brands sell their skin care for. This kit is £29.99 which I personally think is brilliant for such amazing products. The packaging for each product is works perfectly according to what the product is.
For anyone who is struggling with their skin and has £30 to spare, I would 100% recommend all these products.
Love Mais.
