My skin is the make or break of my confidence so having the right skincare routine is essential. I've found some great products that get me through those bad skin days when my skin doesn't feel like cooperating but also keep my skin looking healthy and clear on the good days. Three out of the four products are under £10 and the other product is under £20!
This product is a god send in my eyes. I can't imagine how my skin would be without it. It prevents breakouts and clears my skin like nothing else. I see a noticeable difference when I don't use it! I've been using this moisturiser/spot treatment for about a year now and I can guarantee I'll be using it for years to come - I honestly can't recommend it enough along with the whole of the La Roche Posay range (or what I've used of it!). This is the more expensive product out of the four but, in my opinion, it's totally worth every single penny.
If you haven't heard of micellar water where have you been? In my opinion it's the best way to remove all of your makeup as it's hassle free and actually good for your skin - unlike makeup wipes! The micellar water I prefer to use is the Garnier one simply because you get more for your money. The L'oreal one does the exact same thing but you get half the amount of product for the same price, so it's an obvious choice for me!
I've been a lover of The Body Shop Tea Tree Range for a while and I think out of all the products I've used from the range this is my favourite and is the most effective. Similar to the Effaclar Duo Moisturiser I mentioned earlier, it visibly clears breakouts and soothes the skin. This product also claims to be able to control shine and I'm totally on board with that! A good, affordable all rounder really!
At £4.19 this scrub is an absolute steal! I can feel a difference in the texture of my skin after using it and my skin looks more plumped and hydrated as well. I usually scrub my face 2-3 times a week and I use this product every single time. The smell is refreshing and fruity and makes using this scrub even more enjoyable. There's plenty of product in the tube so for £4.19 there's really not much you can ask for...
There are, of course, plenty of other products that I use on my skin but at the moment these are the ones that I'm loving all for various reasons. I hope this post has been useful and given you an insight on how I like to look after my skin.
What's your go-to skin care product?
Love, Mais.
