Finally, A Levels are done after what has felt like years of overly long days and revision, which means I can get back to the things I love doing. Exams went really well from what I can tell but all will be told on the 16th of August. For now I've got plenty of travelling lined up as well as some well needed relaxing. Something that I also want to do is get back into posting outfits and general blogging as it's been put on the back burner for the past several months due to exams - but now I have few excuses!
Summer rolling around and exams coming to an end has meant style is something that I am able to think about more and the amount of travelling that will be happening means new clothes are necessary. I'm sure over the course of the Summer they'll be multiple blogposts with outfits and how I've styled them.
This outfit above is pretty versatile and I probably wouldn't wear my Topshop chunky trainers when wearing this outfit abroad but the Primark culottes and ASOS bodysuit are great pieces that can be styled up or down. When finding these culottes in Primark I was pleasantly surprised by the quality, colour combination and pattern as well as the length and fit. They look a lot more expensive than £13 and they're the only pair of culottes that I've found to be flattering on me and my petite 5"4 self!
I've worn the bodysuit non-stop since purchasing it - with jeans, skirts and trousers. It's flattering around the chest area which is great as I tend to wear it without a bra which is a big plus in hot whether. The bodysuit works particularly well with culottes as it creates the perfect balance between fitted and loose.
The trainers are also a relatively recent addition to my wardrobe - they're obviously inspired by the Balenciaga Triple S trainers that are the front runners in the chunky trainer trend that is doing the rounds at the minute. Honestly, I'd love a pair of the real deals but paying £600+ on one pair of shoes doesn't seem justifiable, especially when the high street alternatives aren't too far from the real thing.
It feels good to be back blogging and hopefully these posts will be more frequent over the next few months!
