SATURDAY BY MEGAN ELLABY AND IT'S EFFECT ON ME AS A CONSUMER.

Saturday, 3 November 2018

So when one of my favourite fashion bloggers announced that she was releasing a clothing line, naturally I wanted a slice of the action. The insanely talented and oh so stylish Mancunian Megan Ellaby has created a clothing line: 'Saturday by Megan Ellaby', and this time round it's the turn of the jumpers. 'Saturday' because these pieces are ideal for wearing on all sorts of Saturdays - be that a casual one, a smart one or an night one. The knits are interchangeable in terms of styling choices making any one of these pieces a worthwhile investment. Those that are familiar with Megan's style will know she doesn't shy away from clashing colours and bold prints so this collection was never going to be a boring one. After watching Megan's Youtube reveal and the breakdown of all five jumpers, I gravitated towards 'The Pop of Colour Knit' (which sadly, although not surprisingly, is sold out now) as I'm the world's biggest fan of roll necks and the subtle, handwritten detail against the navy blue wool was calling me! Since the launch of this line Megan has confirmed the designs for a second collection which I'm eagerly awaiting to see! Roll on round two!

The packaging and branding is something Megan has clearly taken into consideration and it's details like these that make fashion labels stand out in a very saturated market. The clam cuff branding on the sleeve of every jumper is a classy way to trademark Megan's brand whilst also adding a little bit of something extra to (in the case of this particular jumper) an otherwise plain sleeve.

When I was watching the Youtube reveal, Megan made a point of mentioning the quality of her collection in terms of materials. Each jumper is made out of 100% Italian Merino wool, which of course means the jumpers aren't going to be cheap but the price can be seen in the quality. This seems poignant at this point in time when there's plenty of awareness of the fact that the fashion industry is one of the biggest contributors to climate change. Fast fashion and consumerism are killing our planet and pretty much everyone has a part to play in this global issue. The quality and cost that comes with buying one of Megan's pieces has got me thinking about investing in fashion so that mass consumption can be reduced. A common way that many of us shop is to buy at record breaking low prices to then go and wear the garment in question a few times before throwing it away or leaving it to gather dust in our wardrobes. Everyone, and most definitely me, is guilty of this but it simply isn't sustainable. This way of life is fuelled by 'Instagram culture' which often means that once you've been seen in a particular outfit, there is a fear of re-wearing it. This attitude needs to change but it's easier said than done - I'm very much guilty of this and it's hard in this day and age when so much emphasis is based upon aesthetics. It doesn't help that retailers are churning out weekly collections opposed to the standard four collections a year that align with the seasons. 52+ collections a year is beyond excessive. Investing in pieces that are guaranteed to last and that can be styled up in different ways is a way to reduce consumption. With the jumper that I purchased from Megan's collection being £75 I certainly can't make a habit of buying pieces at this cost, but making a conscious effort to think about wearability and longevity is a step in the right direction. Being aware of the problem is important and as someone who loves to shop and consume fashion it's a hard pill to swallow. This doesn't mean that I won't be buying pieces that are of a regular quality, because sadly my student loan doesn't allow for that, but I like to think that I'll always think about the effects that garments are having on our precious Earth. 'Stacey Dooley Investigates: Fashion's Dirty Secrets' is an eye opening BBC documentary about the devastating effects that the fashion industry is having on our planet which goes into depth about different issues surrounding fashion and the environment.

Back to the jumper - it fits like a dream and Megan has nailed it as expected. Thanks for creating a banging collection and consequently making me think about a better way to shop.

A NEW OUTFIT AND A MONTH OF UNI.

Thursday, 25 October 2018

I've been at uni just over a month now which has of course flown by. It's been a big period of adjustment for me (and I'm sure many others) as I'm a home gal through and through and change can often feel intimidating, so when pretty much everything changes regarding the people you surround yourself with, living spaces, routines, cities and so on, it has felt (understandably... I think) overwhelming at times. I'd say that at the moment I'm feeling the most settled that I've felt since moving. I've started researching for assignments and getting into the swing of routine, and for a girl who thrives of productivity this has made it easier for me to feel settled. One particular assignment that is interesting me is based upon the relationship between fashion and the factors that influence it such as politics, society and art. We've also had multiple individuals from the fashion industry that have come in to speak to us about their story and what they've learnt along the way. It's inspiring seeing successful industry professionals who have been through similar processes that us students will go through as it makes the dream seem a little more attainable.

During the first week of uni it was my 19th birthday, so naturally I had a bit of birthday money to spend which of course ended up in the hands of Urban Outfitters.
For a while I've had my eyes on the Adidas poppers after constantly seeing them on girls and guys when I'm out and about. They always seem to look so effortless but still fashion-forward which is what I'd say I like to achieve on a daily basis when thinking about how I put my outfits together. The classic Adidas three-stripe creates a bold, yet easy-to-wear statement. Poppers also tie in nicely with the current flared trouser trend as I tend to wear mine with at least one of the poppers undone which creates a slight flare effect. At this time of year, as temperatures are steadily declining, layering has to be considered so I opted for the classic black pair of poppers (as I was tempted by the green ones) so that I can style my burgundy aviator jacket and baby pink puffer with them seamlessly.

Because the poppers are in no way figure hugging, my preferred way to wear them has been with skintight, high neck tops as this creates that flattering juxtaposition between loose and tight. This particular funnel neck top is once again from UO *shock*. It's a lovely, sleek grey-brown shade which works well for this autumnal time of year whilst still adding something ever-so-slightly different. The zip up element of the top plays on the whole 'athleisure' look that the poppers already allow for, especially when teamed with my chunky Topshop trainers which I have not stopped wearing since I bought them back in June.

And with that comes the end of my first blogpost whilst at uni.

THE BEST OF ASOS RIGHT NOW.

Wednesday, 19 September 2018

If you're anything like me then ASOS is your idea of fashion heaven. A collective of all the best high street brands (as well as many high end brands) bundled together on a very aesthetically pleasing website where the models are styled to perfection. I often find myself scrolling and scrolling and scrolling with no intention of purchasing anything, simply because I like seeing what's new in. Over the past week or so I've found some very cute pieces which I thought I'd collate in this blogpost.

ASOS DESIGN Cat Eye Sunglasses - a stylish pair of shades for the winter sun.

ASOS DESIGN Blue Cord Trousers - cord trousers are the perfect go-to this season. I haven't found my perfect pair quite yet but this pair would work perfectly with a black roll neck and trainers.

ASOS DESIGN Camel Sweater & ASOS DESIGN Camel Jogger - this co-ord combines comfort with style. This camel colour feeds into the A/W trend of wearing varying brown shades together, which could easily be done with these two pieces by either layering or wearing them separately with other pieces.

ASOS DESIGN Snake Print Sandals - a subtle way to incorporate the snake skin trend into an outfit.

Daisy Street Leopard Print Flares -  a bold way to incorporate the leopard print trend into an outfit.

Reclaimed Vintage Hands and Lips Graphic T-Shirt - a cool graphic tee which is perfect for layering.

Nike Orange Joggers - a bright statement that could be toned down by layering with seasonal shades such as burgundy and different browns.

ASOS DESIGN Double Breasted Pink Check Blazer - a classic way to wear a bright colour which would look great teamed with a black roll neck and flares.

ASOS DESIGN Double Breasted Heritage Check Blazer - a more seasonal alternative to the blazer above.

Reclaimed Vintage Face Print Graphic T-Shirt - yet another cool graphic tee which is perfect for layering.

New Look Faux Fur Cross Body Bag - a simple way to elevate the cross body bag trend. I've ordered this little, fluffy number for freshers week - it's gorgeous and surprisingly roomy!

ASOS DESIGN Black Kick Flare Leggings - the flared trend has been around for a while and I think it'll be sticking around for a while longer. My preferred way to wear these trousers would be with trainers and a roll neck, layered with a big jumper.

Nike Air Force White (with typography tick) - Air Force have been making the rounds again recently and this pair put a spin on the classic white trainer.

Crooked Tongues Oversized Blue Hoodie with Logo - a hoodie that still provides comfort but is more fashion-forward than most with the contrasting colours and the graphics on the back and down the arms.

RESULTS DAY.

Saturday, 18 August 2018

So, a few days ago it was A Level results day and with the grades A*AC I got into my first choice uni doing the course of my dreams! I'll be studying Fashion Marketing from September which, at the moment, seems quite surreal as I've wanted to do a fashion-based degree for as long as I can remember. I can't wait to learn about the business behind fashion in an amazing city. Now I've got to make that all important trip to IKEA and get prepared for moving away.
Whilst at uni I'm going to aim to increase the amount of blogposts depending on my timetable, workload and how everything generally pans out - I'm looking forward to posting more outfits and seeing how I can work my blog into uni life.

After heading into college to pick up the paper copy of my results, me and my family went out for a meal to celebrate. The weather was a lot cooler than it's been recently so I plumped for a new winter addition in my wardrobe. This jumper caught my eye when I was in Primark simply because it doesn't look as though it would be from Primark. The contrasting textures between the sleeves and the body of the jumper combined with the balloon sleeves creates an expensive feel and fashion-forward piece, something you don't tend to find in Primark. Although saying that, the subject of my previous blogpost was the hat that I've put together with this jumper which is also from the store. I tend to avoid Primark due to their infamous poor quality and lack-lustre, mass produced clothing but these two pieces stood out to me. Anyone who knows me knows that I love anything with a high neckline so this ticks another box for me with this jumper.

As Winter draws in I can't pretend that I'm not excited to get back to wearing big coats and layers but hopefully they'll be a few more weeks of sunshine left! I'm off to Budapest in a couple of days so sunshine is pretty much guaranteed :)

THE LEOPARD BAKER BOY.

Sunday, 29 July 2018

For over a year now I've been eyeing up the baker boy style caps that have been in circulation throughout the leading high street stores and scattered amongst the Instagram's of the fashion blogging elite. Sadly though, every time I came across one I would try it on and find the actual fit of the hat unflattering which left me feeling disappointed. This meant I could only admire this trend from afar and alas my vision of pairing one of these hats with various outfits would not be fulfilled.

Fast forward to last week and I would've imagined that this trend was sadly well on it's way to being in the fashion history books by now (even though I'm a believer of wearing what you want when you want). However, fortunately for me I spotted this absolute beauty in Primark of all places - somewhere where I would've never expected to find a piece like this. At this point in the Primark store I was thinking this is great but surely the fit won't live up to what I'd hope. But it does. I couldn't' be happier about it.

When purchasing this hat of dreams I was wondering when I could next wear it considering the lengthy heat wave that the UK has endured over the last few weeks. Low and behold, over the past two days there has been a bout of rain and colder weather - and with every cloud (literally) comes a silver lining! In this particular outfit I let the hat do the work with only an oversized white tee and a slightly snazzy pair of jeans (the topic of my previous post) to compete with. The black chunky sandals keep with overall look relevant to this season whilst complimenting the edgy feel that the hat adds. The fact that this hat is leopard print makes it a more interesting piece as it doesn't conform to the standard black, adding more interest to an outfit. I've very recently seen a surge in the amount of leopard print being worn and it's completely changed my opinion as all I ever used to associate it with was my not-so-fashionable year 7 drama teacher and the unflattering, garish leopard print pieces that she would always wear.  Pieces such as this hat, however, carry it off in a much more subtle way and I'm all for that.

I already can't wait to style this hat alongside different layers when wrapping up warm for the winter time.

RAINBOW DENIM.

Wednesday, 25 July 2018

As I've made clear in multiple blogposts, denim (particularly in the form of jeans) is my comfort zone when it comes to style and I'm happiest when in my jeans. Unfortunately though jeans have a label of being boring and a safe bet in terms of personal style due to their ease and overfamiliarity. However, personally I believe it's all down to how they're styled which allows jeans to be elevated from the standard dull stereotype of a pair of denim slacks. The versatility of jeans is what makes them so well loved amongst both the style conscious individuals of this world and the not so style conscious individuals of this world. But, there's nothing wrong with purchasing jeans that add a little something extra to an outfit. And that's exactly what this Pull & Bear pair do.

When I was in Barcelona with my boyfriend (shoutout for being fab company and a top map reader for the entire trip) a couple of weeks ago we ventured into a huge Pull & Bear store where I came across these jeans. They instantly caught my eye due to the simplistic rainbow stripe detail down the side of each leg. I'm not quite bold enough to brave patterned or brightly coloured jeans so this pair is the perfect medium between classic and daring, and they are something I didn't know I wanted until I saw them. With a pair of jeans the fit is crucial - not quite right and the general feel becomes insignificant, but luckily with this pair the fit is one that's ideal. They fit very snug around the bum and thighs whilst falling casually, skimming the lower leg area to create the classic mom style that I find most flattering on me. Whats more is that I picked them up for an unbelievable €9.99 (£7.99)! To be honest, the full price of £29.99 wouldn't have stopped me from purchasing, but for less than a tenner it didn't even take a second thought.

The outfit above was styled around the jeans. The simple red t-shirt (similar here and here) compliments the stripes well, allowing the jeans to do the talking whilst also adding a bold colour which is particularly appropriate for this time of year. The chunky sandals (similar herehere and here) add a more feminine, yet edgy side to the overall look with the open-toed and chunky elements which worked well alongside some welcomed evening sunshine. The Aldo shoulder bag helped to turn this casual look into something more night time appropriate which was much needed when this outfit is essential jeans and a t-shirt.

I am already looking forward to seeing how I can style these jeans with coats, jumpers and boots when winter time rolls around but for now I'm happy to be enjoying the sunshine!

HEATWAVE DRESSING.

Sunday, 8 July 2018

Everyone is obsessing over the current heatwave that has hit the UK and it has proven to be sticking around for a while which is almost unheard of. I cannot remember a time when there were consistently scorching days in the UK and it's come at a time when many people seem to be super happy with England's current run in the World Cup combined with the fact that me and many people I  know have finished for Summer.
One of the few things that I tend to dislike about Summer is the lack of creativity that I feel as though I can put into outfits - there's no layering and being in the UK we don't tend to be half as equipt as we are for autumn/winter so I sometimes feel like my wardrobe isn't as strong for this time of the year meaning I can struggle expressing my true style. Staple, investment pieces are more likely to be bought for the colder months so when a heatwave comes along it often throws people off a bit.

The outfit above is what I wore yesterday when I went out for breakfast with a friend. I wouldn't usually brave a skirt for something so casual (as I'm a jeans kinda gal at heart) but in the current climate there are few alternatives. The skirt is a lovely burnt orange/red colour which is initially what caught my eye when browsing ASOS (similar linked here). The fit is flattering which can sometimes be the downfall of denim mini skirts. It sits comfortably on my waist whilst skimming my bum and thighs. The subtle triangle-shaped cut in the centre at the front of the skirt cleverly elongates my legs giving the illusion of a longer figure which 5"4 me certainly won't argue with. The striped tee from Brandy Melville (similar linked here and here) is a staple in my wardrobe that I tend to layer in winter but here it compliments the skirt well with a slightly different shade of red and a contrasting navy shade.
The element that I feel as though brings this outfit together with my style stamp of approval are the Topshop chunky trainers that I first mentioned in my previous post. The masculine, flat-form element and the varied textures give the totally feminine outfit a different edge which is the look I like to achieve when styling outfits. The juxtaposition of typically girly and boyish pieces is what I love best when styling throughout all seasons, and these trainers make it slightly easier in the summer months, but admittedly I do need to work on my overall summer style and play about a bit more.
My Ray-Ban rounds have been worn more over the last couple of weeks than ever before. They instantly add a classic, retro feel to an outfit and personally I find them to be very flattering - they also act as a great headband for when the sun isn't out!

So, I hope to be sharing some more summer outfits as and when - I've got a few trips away coming up and the British sun doesn't seem to be going anywhere any time soon so that helps too!

SUMMER NEWNESS.

Thursday, 21 June 2018

Finally, A Levels are done after what has felt like years of overly long days and revision, which means I can get back to the things I love doing. Exams went really well from what I can tell but all will be told on the 16th of August. For now I've got plenty of travelling lined up as well as some well needed relaxing. Something that I also want to do is get back into posting outfits and general blogging as it's been put on the back burner for the past several months due to exams - but now I have few excuses!
Summer rolling around and exams coming to an end has meant style is something that I am able to think about more and the amount of travelling that will be happening means new clothes are necessary. I'm sure over the course of the Summer they'll be multiple blogposts with outfits and how I've styled them.
This outfit above is pretty versatile and I probably wouldn't wear my Topshop chunky trainers when wearing this outfit abroad but the Primark culottes and ASOS bodysuit are great pieces that can be styled up or down. When finding these culottes in Primark I was pleasantly surprised by the quality, colour combination and pattern as well as the length and fit. They look a lot more expensive than £13 and they're the only pair of culottes that I've found to be flattering on me and my petite 5"4 self!
I've worn the bodysuit non-stop since purchasing it - with jeans, skirts and trousers. It's flattering around the chest area which is great as I tend to wear it without a bra which is a big plus in hot whether. The bodysuit works particularly well with culottes as it creates the perfect balance between fitted and loose.
The trainers are also a relatively recent addition to my wardrobe - they're obviously inspired by the Balenciaga Triple S trainers that are the front runners in the chunky trainer trend that is doing the rounds at the minute. Honestly, I'd love a pair of the real deals but paying £600+ on one pair of shoes doesn't seem justifiable, especially when the high street alternatives aren't too far from the real thing.

It feels good to be back blogging and hopefully these posts will be more frequent over the next few months!

COLD DAYS.

Wednesday, 21 February 2018

With the cold days not seeming to be going anywhere anytime soon, layering is a consistent and necessary choice that I've been making, but being the overly style conscious human that I am, I like to make sure that I'm not just repeating the same outfits on a loop. Layering the same pieces differently means that outfits don't have to look the same too often and new pieces don't need to be bought in order to ensure that all important variation.

Under this Tommy pull over (which me and my sis managed to snap up in a flea market in New York for $25!!!) is a simple polo neck which made sure to keep me cosy on this particularly cold day.
These jeans are now the only style I wear - they fit like a dream and are a refreshing change from the skinny alternative which is all I wore for about ten years but rarely wear these days. The classic black and white converse are a relatively new addition to my wardrobe and I'm having fun experimenting with styling them.

So,  a simple and minimal winters day outfit which is the type of thing I tend to wear for college topped off with my beloved aviator jacket.

THAT JACKET.

Sunday, 21 January 2018

I'd had my eye on this aviator jacket since September when I saw it on the Zara website but finally, a few months later, I decided it was something I needed in my life so it took pride of place on my Christmas list. Lucky for me Santa came through and I was very happy indeed.

The colour was what initially drew me to this piece. This aviator style has been very popular recently which meant that I was hesitant to jump on the bandwagon and go for the standard black option, so when I saw this colour it caught my eye. With something as trend-led as this I prefer to go for the option that is slightly off the cuff and this deep red shade is exactly that!

The details of the jacket are what makes it. The length allows the jacket to be cosy and practical whilst also achieving that higher end feel. Rather than the faux fur being simply for aesthetic purposes, it serves up practicality as the whole of the jacket is lined which is something that I've valued recently on those oh so regular, freezing cold days. It's this kind of detail that pieces from the high street are sometimes lacking and it's made the jacket all the more wearable. The oversized feel is probably my favourite characteristic, giving off that 'effortlessly put-together' vibe. This is something I usually always aim to achieve with my style so having a staple piece such as a jacket to help me with this is ideal. The hardware is silver and the belt is held in place by a clever fixture which is a clever little touch. All of these details make this coat an absolute pleasure to wear and there's been very few days where I haven't worn this since I opened it on Christmas Day.

I've found styling it an easy and enjoyable experience - it's fitted into my wardrobe seamlessly and I feel like it looks best teamed with my ASOS farleigh jeans as pictured above, but like any great staple piece it looks great styled many different ways.

Sadly, I think this colour has sold out, but I've linked the black version here, along with a similar berry coloured jacket from Warehouse here! And if they aren't up your street take a look on ASOS for all the different colour-ways that are on offer at the moment. Happy browsing!

WHAT I'VE LEARNT AFTER TWO YEARS OF WORKING IN FASHION RETAIL.

Wednesday, 17 January 2018

As mentioned in my last post I've recently left my part time job as a Sales Assistant at Office. It was the first job I've had and it's fair to say I've grown up a significant amount whilst working there. I learnt a lot from my experiences, not just about retail but also about myself.

Since working in retail is such a valuable experience for someone who wants to go into the fashion industry as I do, I thought I'd collate everything I can think of in terms of what I consider worthwhile lessons and things to note from my experience in fashion retail.

Firstly, it's not glamorous. I think very often people perceive any fashion related job, whether that's part time or a career, as glamorous and often not challenging. To be honest these were my thoughts when it specifically came down to fashion retail. This meant that I didn't really know what to expect - I had always perceived fashion retail as something which didn't require much thought or skill. However, from my experience over the past two years that was certainly not the case. When I first started I was guided but at the same time I wasn't confident in my skill set. Over time this built up and after a year or so of part time work I think it's fair to say that I deemed myself as successful as a Sales Assistant in terms of hitting targets, receiving customer feedback and feeling as though I could go about my time at work (mostly) independently.

Customer service skills are valued. Thanks to my dad I've always been aware of how important customer service is but it's a different kettle of fish when you're the one that's delivering it opposed to being on the receiving end. Being a talkative person anyway, it really didn't take me long to develop the basic customer service skills, although there are definitely things that I've picked up over time. This was the part of my job which I enjoyed the most as I genuinely loved learning about and interacting with people whilst at the same time maintaining a professional relationship. I found an interest and a challenge in using these skills to convince customers into buying the product (in my case shoes) - because when it comes down to it, that is the fundamental point of a Sales Assistant. Knowing that customers have valued my time with them, because they've either voiced it to me or written online feedback, really did make me smile. It's satisfying to know that the effort I've put into a customer's experience has had a positive impact on them. It really does show the value and power of customer service and how it can affect the consumer.
When a big chunk of your work is focused on the relationship with the customer, it all of a sudden makes you very aware of customer service in all walks of life. So as a person I guess you could say I value customer service even more now.

It can be rewarding. Although my time in retail up to now has presented its challenges it's also been a rewarding experience - and I don't mean in terms of physical rewards such as payment or incentives. As previously mentioned, seeing that you are able to have a positive affect on the customer is rewarding in itself. But then there's also factors such building up relationships with colleagues, most of which have been lovely from my experience. From there it's a case of how you all work together as a team and for me it was fulfilling seeing those relationships develop as it allowed me to enjoy work more whilst also doing my job more effectively as we could all help each other out - and during super busy times such as Christmas, and specifically Boxing Day, this was a huge plus!
Being the competitive gal that I am meant that I aimed to hit (and possibly exceed) my sales targets. I guess this was the easiest way of measuring how I was doing so when I did hit targets I was very happy indeed and it told me that I was at least doing something right.

There's more to it than being a Sales Assistant. This might simply be because it was my first job and the only job I've had, but from my experience there are other tasks that I've had to do that I didn't consider when I got the job. This was something I wasn't entirely prepared for but I took it in my stride and picked it up as I went along. Learning as you go along is something that I found is often done in retail in a lot of cases.

It's a fast pace industry. Like fashion itself, fashion retail also moves fast. People are coming and going constantly and towards the end of my two years it worked out that I was the longest serving employee in my branch. It can be hard to keep up sometimes but it does mean that I've met many wonderful people along the way, who all had different stories to tell.
Similarly, the products themselves change up frequently due to the nature of trends and customer demand within fashion. This meant that I had to familiarise myself with the new product information relatively quickly so that I felt confident in what I had to sell.
From my perspective as a lover of fashion, it was always interesting seeing how the current trends manifested themselves into the products that Office continues to sell. The trend and brand influences were often clear to see and that's something I always have thought Office has done well.

Amongst these points there will be other things I've learnt but I think I would say these are what I'd consider most valuable to me. I will no doubt be working in fashion retail part time in the not-too-distant future whilst I continue studying and it'll be comforting being able to apply what I know now to a whole new set up.

2018.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

2017 was one of the most influential and significant years of my life. It was a year which shared its fair share of ups and downs. I learnt A LOT and feel as though I really developed as a person. Although there was a mixture of good and bad, every experience taught me something which I'll take into this year.

-This year I became even closer to my incredible circle of friends which I didn't even deem possible. I'm incredibly lucky - it's been a difficult year for all of us but we've got through it together <3
-I've been to some great gigs and cherished every moment.
-I visited the one place on earth I'd always dreamed of going - New York. Most certainly the holiday of a lifetime and 10 days I will never ever forget.
-I lost two of my beautiful family members which was obviously devastating and something that has really shaped last year for me and my family. They're greatly missed but are now in a better place.
-I applied to Uni and got all my offers back!
-I turned 18 and had THE BEST weekend of my entire life surrounded by some absolute gems.
-I've some how managed to just about pull through and survive the majority of my college life whilst doing pretty well - just the last quarter to go now AHH.
-I've met some amazing people who I'm sure will be a big part of my 2018
-After two years and three months I left my part time job working in retail at Office to focus of exams meaning I've been able to have an incredible Christmas, surrounding myself with my favourite people.
-And three days before this year came to a close I was asked to be a bridesmaid for my amazing cousin! So happy for her and her absolutely loooovely fiancé.

In terms of what 2018 has to offer, it's set to be a good'un. I've got three gigs lined up already which is a great way to start any year! There's looooots of travelling on the cards which is a dream come true for me. I'll get to explore parts of the world that I've always to go to with some beautiful people by my side. A big part of the plan is to smash my A-Levels and get into my first choice Uni and then actually go to Uni!

Soooo, yeah big things set for this year. LET'S GO.
